Bolo AI was created by engineers who spent decades out in the field, solving real problems for real operations.

Bolo is on a mission to unlock heavy industry's operational data and institutional knowledge,
ensuring that industrial expertise is preserved for the generations that need it most.

Heavy industry is sitting on decades of valuable operational data that's locked inside legacy systems. Meanwhile, the institutional knowledge that makes it legible is walking out the door as senior engineers retire. Generic AI isn't designed to capture either, and the result is that the majority of enterprise AI pilots never reach production.

Bolo AI is the context layer that makes industrial data usable, actionable, and accurate enough to power important asset decisions. It encodes specific industrial data, vocabularies, and reasoning patterns into the software enterprises already use—so decades of operational knowledge stays accessible, even as the engineers who built it move on.
Bolo is led by engineers who have lived the problem and is backed by a bench of operators and industry advisors with deep roots in heavy industry. Between our whole community, that's decades of combined expertise across energy, utilities, and oil & gas.

Diti has over a decade of energy industry experience building AI solutions for heavy industry. After starting as a field engineer with Schlumberger in the Middle East, she joined C3 AI, where she launched and scaled their oil & gas business into the company's top-performing vertical, working with customers like Shell, Baker Hughes, and ExxonMobil. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Matt is a four time CTO with deep expertise in scaling platforms and building high-performing engineering teams. He has launched products from concept to scale and transformed legacy systems into modern cloud platforms. At Bolo AI, Matt leads the engineering organization and drives the technical vision for the company’s agentic AI platform.
We're always looking for talented people who care about the problem and understand the work.
see open positionsI started my career as a field engineer. I was close enough to heavy industry to see what it actually runs on: people, plus the years and years of specialized knowledge walking out the door as they retire.
Heavy industry doesn't need another system to rip and replace what it spent decades building. It needs a fresh layer that makes what it already knows usable—reliable AI that earns the trust of the people behind critical infrastructure, because it was built by people who have stood where they stand.
That's the work. That's why we're here.

Our job is to amplify the expertise of engineers, not replace it. We handle the data work that gets in their way, surface helpful patterns, and give them more time to make the calls only they can make.
Our agents show their work when they know the answer and acknowledge their limits when they don't. Provenance, traceability, and clarity are vital when it comes to building AI asset teams can trust.
Heavy industry has spent decades building the systems and data it runs on. The next move isn't to replace those system, but to unlock what they already know and make them more capable.
Every engagement is built to land in production, not to live in a slide deck. We deliver forward-deployed engineers, 3-week working demos, 12-week deployments, and real value in the first pilot.
Whether you’re building industrial AI, investing in it, working in it, or running the critical infrastructure it's designed for, we’d love to talk.
